WHEW! It’s been so BUSY around here! I’m excited to tell you that Preparing...

It’s been a whirlwind of activity here in Cane Creek. We had to move out of our old house because of the black mold and radon. Since then, we’ve been camping out in a little 26′ × 20′ apartment that was originally intended to house furloughed missionaries a day or two as they passed through.
We didn’t mind the coziness, but our new digs seemed to re-awaken in Mike the desire to see his home-building project completed. Mike left the office duties to me for a few weeks while he’s been working furiously this summer to get our new house built.
Meanwhile, I’ve been trying to complete work on The Test (the second book in The Last Publishers series) as well as several other surprise projects and trying to keep things going at the office. I get so distracted, my thoughts get scattered, and I forget where I put my glasses, purse, shoes, etc. Too funny!
Mike is stopping work on the house for the winter as I write this — YIPPEE!!! It will be so good to have him putting together the Jan/Feb issue of NGJ Magazine. We already have several articles that we did not use last time so it is mostly ready.
So many wonderful things are on our plate. So much good work to be done. It promises to be an exciting ride . . . Hang on!

sorry about the sudden move for you, but am excited for you with your new house:) we built a house in Fl. took us 3yrs, as just built it as we had the money. We lived in for 1yr. then moved back to Oh. It was short & sweet:)we sold the house in Nov. 09 so now we are looking for a property in Oh. Its sure to be a fixer-upper:) My husband & I like those to much:) Enjoy having your hubby in close quarters this winter:)

Thank you so much for the many ways you have ministered to our family. We are blessed indeed by NGJ! Six of our eight Grands have received Jesus into their lives; the two youngest are being drawn by the Father, which is a beautiful thing to watch. TTUAC had a great part in that as they were well-trained from infancy, which I believe can be used by the Holy Spirit for early salvation. I was saved at 32 years old, which was God’s timing I know, but lets you know the years God worked on me before He brought me to the end of myself for salvation.
I was wondering about radon being found in your home-how did you find out and where did you get the test for it? Thanks!
Our family recently purchased “Teaching Responsibility” along with some items on our “wish list,” and watched the video this week with our kids. Reading this entry today made me recall the portion of the video where Mike shared his vision of the “Pearl Dream House” along with the pictures of the foundation. We can’t wait to see pictures of your completed home. Godspeed on the project!

just finished the vision, WOW what a ride! I don’t think my heart can handle the test…I wanted to pack up and move in with the last publishers! In telling my daughters about the book i found myself saying, "well michael Pearl says, I mean Malachi says…Great Job, i did find a mis quote on page 199. Omar quoted Matthew 13:10, but it is actually Mark 13:10. love your work
