WHEW! It’s been so BUSY around here! I’m excited to tell you that Preparing...

As this new year begins, I’m excited about our newest project, Preparing To Be His Help Meet, a book for single young women. It has truly been a labor of love because young women were willing to send me their love stories to help illustrate each lesson. We’ve had so many willing to share that it isn’t possible to include all of them in this single book. I say book, but it’s really a study guide and book all in one volume that can be used for group study or individually.
During this process, I’ve been reminded all over again that the calling of a help meet is that which requires heavenly resources. So often old habits and stinking thinking gets in the way of what God has created us to be. We must daily choose the better part. It’s really convicting to review the Scripture again as this newest book is prepared for printing.
Just as Daniel chastened himself and prayed for understanding (Daniel 10), as the Church labored through the night in prayer when Peter was in prison (Acts 12), there are times when we must clear the way with prayer. Prayer and angels go hand in hand. There are barriers that are crushed when God’s people pray.
As you remember us in prayer, pray for physical stamina, wisdom, clarity of purpose and efficiency in the many tasks at hand. Ask God to send His messengers to hand-deliver the very things that are required. We SO value your prayers! I’m convinced that the earnest prayers of faithful believers will make all of the difference in how quickly and how well we are able to reach our goals…
So, pray as you see the need, and we will rejoice with you to see God’s supply.

I am so excited to hear this. Although my girls are all still young, we have gone over parts of Created to help instill in them these truths. Thank you for all your hard work in all that you do.
Oh what blessed news!! My daughters are “teens” and have have done some studies out of “C.T.B.H.H” and had detailed conversations from the pages of your wonderful book! I have hope to have a copy for each child’s Hope Chest, and I shall certainly be adding this new book! Thanks for the life altering ministry!!
I am totally looking forward to this book’s release! I am a single young woman myself. I’ve read “Created to Be His Helpmeet,” and I loved it; but I am excited to read a book that will help me put into practice now what I will need for later. Thanks for your ministry, Pearls!
I am very excited to see that this book is being made. I can’t wait to share it with my daughter!
So glad to hear this news! It will be nice to have something to give to the young single ladies. May the Lord bless you as you do His work!
Wow, what an exciting project! I am looking forward to using this throughout my daughter’s life to encourage and instruct her. I had a poor example from my own mother on how to be a godly wife and have struggled in my journey to become a Help Meet to my husband. With the joy of the Lord, a growing godly example, and this upcoming book, I am excited to have resources to train my daughter (and myself) in being all that God created us to be!
Thank you, Debi, for your gift of love by writing CREATED TO BE HIS HELP MEET. I am 46, married to a man who walks with Jesus, and yet have found this resource to be a challenge and a reminder of my primary mission. I am so grateful that single women will hear these truths, straight from God’s word, BEFORE they say, “I do.” God bless you.
I just finished reading The Vision. I saw in the back to look for the next book, The Test. When will that be out?
Also, what version of the Bible do you use? When I read Jeremiah 50-51, it is referring to Babylon. Do you think Babylon the Great is the US? Why or why not? In Isaiah 28, my version of the Bible does not use the word “consumption.”
Apart from that, I really liked the story – it goes along with the Islamic Antichrist that I just finished reading.
Yay! Yay! Yay! I’ve so often tried to teach the younger girls in our church. This will be a great tool!! Yay!
Hurrah! Its always better and easier to prepare someone or thing, than to fix problems later on.
I am so excited to hear about this new book. Thank you for taking the time to write for us young women still waiting for “our man.”
Blessings on your ministry, and I will be praying for you.

This will be so good. What is it they say… Second hand experience is cheap if you buy it. I have great hope for the young women willing to buy the experience that I am sure will fill this book. Finally got to read The Vision. I dont usually have time to read much fiction…but I could hardly put it down. So much fact and useful information mixed in I actually learned alot. Looking forward to both new books.
Praying for you both earnestly tonight… that you will be filled up with an energy that can only be defined as God-sent, that the items that you are both granted clarity of your “inner man’s eye” in order to see how to prioritize which project where! That your sleep will be refreshing, that when you wake, it will be to know that it is a new day and that every step was ordered by the Father who loves us… Amen, but not the end. From We Brumleys
my oldest daughter has been using your first book as a way of preparing herself. i am so glad there will be a book for single girls preparing themselves for their as yet unseen husbands!
I am so excited to hear this! Ever since I first read Created I was hoping for a version for younger readers, since the one for married ladies is a bit “r”-rated to recommend to my little sister and her friends yet. If you are looking for anyone to read the manuscript and give feedback, please contact me!
I am a spanish mother, and I am so excited to hear about this new book! I really hope that this book also will be in Spanish, since we are now going to missions to South America. Thank you!!!
Thank you for Created To Be His Helpmeet. I have owned 3 copies. The first I gave away…didn’t need it:) The second I tore up into a million pieces and the third is a treasured possession. I am thankful for the Preparing…as I have many single friends and family members that would benefit ahead of the marriage. I am reading the Vision and in the back it says if we want to help with distributing the bible, we can come to Debi’s web site. How can we help and is there a real God’s Story book? Blessings
I am so excited! I love all your books, but I think this one will be especially applicable since I’m a young, single female. Thank you and God bless!
My oldest will be 30 this year. Two years ago she read CTBHH and thought it would be for that special man. She does not feel called to be single. She aches to have a husband and home. And, now another book…may it be a blessing.
I need your help. I have been reading your book, Created to Be His Helpmeet since finding out that my husband is having an affair. I am TRULY changing in my heart and living totally differently toward him. However, he is still in love with her and now says that he wants to pursue the relationship with her—though he still loves us (me and our girls). I need help understanding how to set clear boundaries with him while also living in submission. He says he will go to see her. Should I then tell him that he cannot come home? Should I pack up his things? I am truly confused as to how to still live in total submission while he is doing this. He wants to have her and still come see us/ be with us/ etc. I HATE this and want to set a clear boundary and think I should but not sure what is best. Please help.
Please if you could write to me about my last question at my e-mail address instead of posting it, I would be so grateful.
Oh, Mrs. Debi, wow. Oh, how I would love to help, it almost makes me sad because I am so unworthy and am so far from being a meet help to my amazing man. But if you are looking for testimonies of brides who married the man they were created for, God gave me a GOOOOOOD love story. But I know you probably have them “coming out your ears.” I love you and would LOVE to help you. But I can pray! :)
Thank you for preparing this book. May God bless everyone involved including those children who are not yet born that will grow up to be diligent in this area of life. It was ungodly when us young women were never prepared to fill this most important role in life. I was never prepared. It is only by the grace and mercy of God that I made it this far in life. Godly adults do have a charge to keep in preparing young people even if they are not our own children. God bless you all. Thank you for all that you do. aamcf
I have the pleasure of being married to my best friend and a man I can stand behind – he is a visionary. I prayed that God would prepare me to be in unity with my husband and I ran after God. I thus had the freedom to pursue God and wherever that God would take me and I trusted God to lead my future husband as well that I wouldn’t end up having my own theology and calling/goals that were different from his. I was shocked when as I got to know my husband that for the first time in my life I met someone that every.single.piece fell into place there was absolutely no doubt in either of our minds that God had created us and prepared us to be together to complete each other. We had never even dared hope that we would be in such unity (show’s our lack of faith) from the start. As we individually grew in our relationship with God, He completely separately led us to the same place theologically, in our calling, in our desires, in all the core things, all the principle things (some of the applications were different but that could be worked out). I wasn’t changing or conforming to this awesome guy I found… God led me to the man that He was preparing me for as I was willing to be molded by Him into the woman of God and wife He wanted me to be. I also knew I could trust God and my husband in all things. As I told my husband years ago before we were married “I trust God to led you. and I trust you to be led by God.”
Being now on this side of the river – I would encourage a young lady to develop a her relationship with God and let Him be her focus and leave to God the rest. Trusting God doesn’t get easier after marriage. :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I too have tried to use the Created book with other younger, single gals, but I look forward to this one to specifically address them at the single stage of life! Thank you for being an older woman to all of us :)
I am so excited to hear that you are writing this book! I read Created to Be His Helpmeet many years before I knew the man I’d marry—in fact, I had read it several times! Now that my wedding date is drawing near, I plan on reading it again, either beforehand or right after (or both). I’ve read many books on marriage in the last year, but yours remains one of the very top ones in my opinion. I am looking forward to reading your book for single young women as well, and giving it to my daughters to read should the Lord give me daughters and tarry long enough for them to grow up!
