“I have just finished devouring The Vision. It was well-written with complicated, real characters. The gospel and all Bible teaching was neatly tucked into the plot. No pauses for an obvious sermon as in some Christian fiction I have read. Enough action to keep you turning the pages but also good dialogue and even a love story (minus the romance novel junk). I have read a lot of end of the world type science fiction/fantasy and while some left me disturbed emotionally by the imagery none have sent me to my knees or to my Bible as this book has. There are some scary and sad scenes but a constant reminder that God is in control, caring for His children, and some well-placed humor help to keep the book positive rather than depressing. I also liked the tidbits of factual knowledge at the bottom - although sometimes that was more disturbing than the story line!
